As a life long Pro V1 guy, I switched to the TP5 after swapping a sleeve of Pro V's for a sleeve of TP5's with my golf buddy.

I feel they have more spin stopping power when hitting into greens. You can throw darts with these things.

As for putting, I didn't like the TP5's at first. They felt soft and like you were putting with a rubber ball.

I got over that soft feel when the putts starting dropping. This ball seemed to start to roll immediately, with very little skid.

I can't say enough about how great these balls are. If you haven't yet played them, and you're a diehard ProV1 guy, I encourage you to pick some up and give them a go.
