I wore number 8 and got a number 9. It is almost too tight; with regular socks, it fits. It is warm enough for light winter, maybe until -5, and spring and fall. If your feet are wide and you intend to wear thick socks, I would recommend getting an extra size up ( I would need a 10 for it). They scratch easily, but they have a lining that makes them comfortable and protects them; for wet days and light rain, it has been waterproof so far. They also help a lot by being slip-resistant, even on some ice. I have been given a light clean every week, and it helps a lot to maintain their beauty. I recommend them.
